Although my kids can visit my in-laws farm whenever they want, we don't have our own Cheese Farm. We had to see the "udder" side.

It turned out to be County Farm Day which meant we shared the farm with several (obviously sheltered children). We watched the kids gather around a cow (which had a large sign proclaiming, "COW") and the horse (which had a large sign proclaiming, "HORSE"). However, we got some delicious cheese samples and tried elk sausage.
Now if I could just find the rest of my pictures!

Soooo your neighbours can't tell a cow from a horse? Hmm, this is worrying.
ReplyDeleteNot nice news about your dad. Hope he's better.
LOL! Dumb city kids... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your dad! I hope he feels better soon.
Hope your dad is better soon. Sounds like you had a fun but crowded time seeing the udder side. :)
ReplyDeleteLet's talk about the elk sausage.
ReplyDeleteHa - signs are good for non-country folk!!
ReplyDeleteHope your dad is recovering quickly. That's crazy that some people don't know the difference between a horse and a cow. I may not be a farm girl, but I know my animals!
ReplyDeleteElk sausage..hm. Did it taste good?
BAHAHAHA! "Cow"!
ReplyDeleteDid they have sign saying "Manure"??!!
Elk sauasge? Sounds yummy!
Too funny! Sorry to hear about your Dad! I hope he is feeling better!
