Hitting the Trail

Nothing says family fun and togetherness like a hike through the woods. I dragged took the kids to Tanner State Park for a visit.

Don't they look ready to start the hike? Mountain trails here we come!

We stopped to gaze at the beautiful mountain lake.

The girls posed for a quick picture...

before attempting the old phrase "go jump in the lake."

Some people need more help to jump in the lake than others.

My son, attempting to prove he could be a drama king, shows us how vampires react to sunlight.

Strangely, I think the kids might have accidentally enjoyed themselves!

  2. Love how your kids always moan about the trips you take them on, then wind up having a great time! And yes, your son is very dramatic with his vampire recreation! Looks like you all had a great time! :)

  19. I think I would enjoy a hike like this too compared to sitting in front of the computer. A lot of children these days are getting too high a dose on computer and electronic games. Glad that they accidentally enjoyed themselves. :)
