If you thought my kids were weird....

Meet my niece. She is six weeks older than my son. The two of them have always had a special bond like twins.

Unfortunately, Peeve doesn't find her as exciting as my son. See how he stares in horror and thinks she's a weirdo?

Sassie and Peeve spend lots of their time hiding when my nieces and nephew visit. They are carefully choosing their hiding places now because this is what they'll have to deal with Thursday!

It's all five kids from last year's Thanksgiving celebration! Visit Gattiana's blog for more Cats on Tuesdays.

  3. Super duper that you get all the fun kids over to your house. My 6 dogs couldn't handle the crowd. haha

  4. If the cat was scared of balloons on his head, imagine how scared he'd be when they pop.

  5. Hahaha - poor kitties. I guess once in a while hiding under the bed is okay. At least the kids are old enough to know not to drag the kitties out from under the bed.

  13. Most of my cats hide too, and then slowly one
"super curious snoopy" cat comes out to check out
the people. Usually Aniwa, I think she likes humans the most! Happy Thanksgiving from our
    house to yours! :)

  14. Yeah, Peeve doesn't look impressed. What would be hilarious is that, if not declawed, Peeve pawed at the balloon and it popped. That would scare her good!

  15. Well, even if if Peeve isn't thrilled, I know they're going to add a lot of fun to your house!

  18. Funny - what's also funny is getting a call from your mother in law - she's hiding in the bathroom to get away from the grand kids.. Oh the lovely holidays....
    I love the balloon face.
    Love to you

  19. Too funny! Our little kitties hide when people come over. Snickers goes into a panic if anyone rings the doorbell so we try to get there first. You'd think after all the years he'd figure out they aren't coming for him...LOL!

  20. I remember when we visited my sister at college. She is 13 years younger than myself. The boys were little. Her dog would not come out from under the couch all weekend! Can't say I blame him! Have a great Thanksgiving!!
